Hello. Hello, everyone, and welcome to today's session. Today we're gonna introduce you to our very own next live and play app. It's a short introduction on how data can make you a better player. So you will get your personal performance data right after a match, right after training. You can check whether you pushed yourself hard enough. You can check whether you improve as you wish to, and you can also check whether this is happening in a sustainable way.
00:00:51:08 - 00:01:17:11
Rikke Grundtvig
You want to stay inside the green zone. Today we have Andreas with us. He's a small scientist here next to Levin, and he's also part of that team that develop the next and play app. So he will highlight what kind of data you get inside the app, and also how those data can accelerate your performance. So let's have a look.
00:01:17:13 - 00:01:46:16
Andreas Gulstad Kure
Thank you very much. And we're gonna dive straight into it. So as mentioned before, the play app is is a tool for players to, to see their own performance data, both from training sessions and matches as well. and what it helps is that it both streamlines data sources as it, it's a center where it's an application where players can enter their.
00:01:46:18 - 00:02:19:27
Andreas Gulstad Kure
When this question asks and there are app registrations in terms of subjective loading and questionnaires in general, which will be sent to the coaches, following registration. Then it also gives direct feedback on performance of the players so they can both see their player load numbers. They can see the time and zones, but they also get an indication of whether the performance was, above or below their usual numbers.
00:02:20:00 - 00:02:47:05
Andreas Gulstad Kure
In otherwise, then they can also look at their, performance data in a broader perspective so they can longitudinally see the data from previous months, weeks and so on, to, to monitor progress, and see if players are improving. Then they also get some analytical features, where they can see whether they are staying in the green zone.
00:02:47:05 - 00:03:24:17
Andreas Gulstad Kure
So this would be the acute chronic workload ratio which we have covered in previous webinars and articles. and then lastly, it gives players, a greater sense of control of their own data as it is. automatically, uploaded to the app following each session without the coach having to do anything. So looking into the features of the app, first we have the activity section where you can see or where players can see, all of their previous sessions.
00:03:24:17 - 00:03:49:20
Andreas Gulstad Kure
They can see, whether it was a plus two training session with it was a match. And then they can see their player load and right next to the player load this check mark, and the percentage which reflects whether they are in the zone, shown that they usually are four and four plus two, for example. This also applies for minus one, minus two sessions and so on.
00:03:49:20 - 00:04:06:12
Andreas Gulstad Kure
And if they are within the zone that they usually perform it for that specific session, then they get a checkmark. Then they can also see in percentages whether they are increasing or decreasing in performance levels.
00:04:06:14 - 00:04:38:07
Andreas Gulstad Kure
So going further into detail, for specific session players can serve on the view analysis option. And here they can see more info on on the training session or the match. So with the benchmarking feature they can see whether they, within the average for that specific session. So the average for previous minus two sessions, which is highlighted with the the green zone is same as you can see on the picture on the left here.
00:04:38:07 - 00:05:08:25
Andreas Gulstad Kure
The average for that specific time of session is 219. In the player load, and the player stayed within this zone. So the player gets a checkmark. Otherwise, players can also see how much time they spend in the intensity zones that we have in the next 11 system, same as the coaches can see. So they get an overview of both their total player load, but also the intensity they have performed in the.
00:05:08:28 - 00:05:44:15
Andreas Gulstad Kure
Players have also the opportunity to look into the team effort. So the percentage benchmark of the whole team in terms of what the team usually performs for that specific session. So here we can see a plus two training session. And the team was at 81% of the usual, load for that type of session. and then they can also click into the view, the complete team effort to see whether, their teammates have performed above or below the usual levels.
00:05:44:18 - 00:05:57:02
Andreas Gulstad Kure
And this is the only, information that the players can get. they are the teammates. So numbers and percentages.
00:05:57:04 - 00:06:29:14
Andreas Gulstad Kure
Then in terms of session analytics, players can also go into the acute chronic workload ratio. This helps the players see to see if they, improving them or performing more intense work or more work in general, when compared to, to previous weeks. and then they can see whether the acute work, is greater than the chronic workload.
00:06:29:16 - 00:06:59:11
Andreas Gulstad Kure
So moving on to the progress section, players can here look at data in a broader perspective and look at their performance levels in a broader perspective. First of all, when pressing on the progress section, they can see all of the previous sessions. They can see whether they improved or whether they maintained, their performance levels. And they can see, yeah, generally the load for for several weeks.
00:06:59:13 - 00:07:37:18
Andreas Gulstad Kure
On the right side, they can also see the accumulated load, for a specific week. and then highlighted through the green band just below the accumulated load. For that total week, they can see the rolling average of, of the weekly loads that they have performed. So yes, they can as they can see, which is, visualized in the app, see whether they are improving on a weekly basis or whether they are, decreasing in the total load of decision of the weeks.
00:07:37:20 - 00:08:14:07
Andreas Gulstad Kure
If players want to get more specific on what type of training sessions they perform the highest in or and what types of matches, they performed the highest and they have, the filter option at the top right where they can filter, sessions based on matches based on training session, based on whether the match was won or lost, and whether training sessions had a specific label such as minus two, looking at only minus two training sessions, or looking at only plus one recovery sessions and so on.
00:08:14:07 - 00:08:24:28
Andreas Gulstad Kure
So they have a, a greater, option to to look at specific sessions, based on their wishes.
00:08:25:00 - 00:08:54:21
Andreas Gulstad Kure
And the progress tab, we also have the acute chronic workload ratio. and here in the progress section they can look at the acute chronic as it evolves over time. So they get, a broader picture of the player load and can look more than a month back and then see if there's a tendency to, to increase in the, in the ratio or whether is a decrease in the ratio if they're staying within the green line.
00:08:54:23 - 00:09:10:00
Andreas Gulstad Kure
in the interval of point 75 to 1.25, then the the vertical line, stay screen, as they're staying within the optimal zone.
00:09:10:03 - 00:09:44:20
Andreas Gulstad Kure
Finally, that's also when this section and as I mentioned before, this is the place where players, will get a notification of, that they need to register their morning wellness, registration. So and this is, it's visualized, visualized through the hoop index where, the player will need to and on their fatigue levels. they need to register, how long they slept, the sleep quality, the muscle soreness.
00:09:44:20 - 00:10:07:10
Andreas Gulstad Kure
And they also have the option to add a comment if, if there are some specifications to the registration as soon as, these this registration has been sent, then it will be available in the coach app for coaches to see whether the players ready to perform for that specific day.
00:10:07:13 - 00:10:31:01
Andreas Gulstad Kure
Finally, players will also be asked to register their RPE for following a specific session. So that's both the following matches and following training sessions. And as soon as that has been sent, then the coach will be able to see the app registrations of the whole team in the coach app. So that was yeah.
00:10:31:04 - 00:13:41:20
