Our Founder, Nikolaj, lost a player career in football. Here is how it happened. He played the central midfield position at the highest youth level in Denmark. However, when he was 16 years old, his coach rightly saw that he would be better in the full-back position. To Nikolaj, that position was less prestigious. And as his coach was unable to explain why changing position would benefit Nikolaj in the long run, he stayed midfielder. When he grew into senior level, he was no longer close to the First Team and stopped playing at the highest level. Years later, he realized, he would have had a way bigger chance of becoming a professional football player had he played the full-back position. N11 is built on the back of that experience. We’re here to bring forward the data and insights that would have made Nikolaj see his coach’s vision when he was 16.
